• Graduated from the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
• 11+ years in the seismic industry, with most of the work focused on Eastern Siberia.
• Received a state award for “First Discovery of a Field”.
• Participated in the discovery of 5 oil and gas fields in Eastern Siberia.
• Developed 7 concepts based on seismic interpretation, confirmed by drilling: found oil, efficiently drilled production wells, avoided unnecessary drilling.
• Published 10+ scientific papers.

I have loved detective stories and beautiful things since childhood. It’s amusing that I found both in seismic work. It’s like peering into the past and solving the mystery of a field using geological evidence. The beautiful part is represented by attributes, my favorite being spectral decomposition. If you’ve never seen it, take a look at images 2 and 3 here. It’s simply amazing.
