Physics is my first love. And geology since my first expedition. I adore seismic exploration for its ability to reveal what cannot be seen on the Earth’s surface.

I approach geology philosophically. Marveling at its grandeur and comparing it to human ‘smallness.’

My interests include mountains, Romanov dynasty history, and I’m still fond of cartoons.
